It's okay if you didn't understand my wall. sometimes, a little background knowledge is required. i would recommend reading the manga because it is quite a thought provoking story, but how good DN is judged to be depends on taste... because it is rather serious. and judging from the OP and ED music chosen for death note the anime, it's supposed to be pretty 'dark' too.

and if you would like to start walling, all you need to do is get a good graphics program, such as photoshop, illustrator, GIMP etc. don't get down to walling yet; explore and fool around with the tools and functions until you have a good idea of what your software can do. then you should pick an anime that you like and find a good quality image that inspires you. once you have a concept and a realistic goal, you can try to make it. there are tutorials out there for many, many things, in case you can't figure something out on your own. after you've got something of a rough draft, you can post it up in session zero where users can critique it for you.

ha yeah, the hair took a long time. @~1@ 18 hours minus the work i lost after my computer died. so after all that hard work, i'm glad you like his hair. =]

Regarding your question about my wall, the point of the wall is all in the text --> "the darkness in light", "man...or god?", "righteous or inhuman", "monster or savior". (and it should be quite obvious if you have watched the anime/read the manga.)

and by the way, the hair is vectored, not brushed. ;] lol if his hair had been brushed, my wall would have been way easier to make. i vectored the hair strand by strand. if there is such a magical brush that can produce separate strands of hair of different lengths and curvature, i would like to know about it. xD
